Description In a class room, you are one of a group. A good teacher will always take the time to go over individual questions - but of course that time has to be shared between all of the students there. With one-to-one tuition, the whole session is about YOU. YOUR questions, the things YOU are confused about, what YOU want to know. In a one-hour session, you get one hour spent on exactly what will be most useful for you. People learn in different ways. A private tutor can try out different ways of explaining a point until finding one that makes sense to you. Even if you feel that you have asked the same question a hundred times before, you don't need to feel embarrassed, because no one else will know. You can go over it until you understand, without feeling that you are holding anyone else up. Choose your own time to learn! Most tutors work in the afternoon and evening, after school. But you can often get sessions during the day as well, if that fits your schedule better. Obviously, it helps if you book your times early in the school year, before things get busy.
