Key Stage 4 / GCSE
As your child starts studying for GCSE examinations they enter key stage 4 in the school. At this point, support from home tutors is vital to ensure that all areas of study are understood by your child. The examinations such as GCSE that are taken during key stage 4 are the qualifications that start your child’s work life or lead to further education, such as A Level and Undergraduate Degree. These are very important and should be approached by students, parents and home tutors with care and dedication to ensure that they achieve the best results possible. Home tutors can provide assistance and help through the key stage 4 and GCSE time at school. All subjects, especially core subjects such as English, Maths and Science, have many home tutors that can provide support throughout the GCSE course during key stage 4, helping with both coursework and examination preparation and revision. Home tutors who specialise in key stage 4 and GCSE preparation can help by providing materials to extend knowledge or reinforce classroom learning, as well as discuss revision techniques and tricks to help your child through the difficult period of examinations.
