Description
As an experienced teacher, tutor and parent, I offer MATHS TUITION on an individual basis from my home in Central North Oxford, just off the Woodstock Road, near St Anne's College.

Below is an outline of what I can do for you or your child. Each section has more details on another page. Just follow the links on the headings.

I mainly teach at A level, having the full worked past papers of all the popular boards. This includes Further Maths and preparation for Cambridge STEP or Oxford entrance exams.

I also teach GCSE and IGCSE at Higher level. I sometimes have space available to teach pupils of year 10 and below in half terms and holidays, but not usually on a regular basis in term time.

I also teach numeracy skills to adults, when they are required for qualifications.

Over the time I have been working as a private tutor, I have seen a wide variety of students of all ages and abilities. During their time with me, either for a few lessons or over a year or more, I have watched their confidence grow.

In some cases as well as having difficulties with the subject, they had lost interest in it, due to large classes or poor teaching. I have found it stimulating to rekindle their enthusiasm for a subject, which is so often perceived as tedious.

As a consequence with renewed understanding, confidence and interest, their results in class and exams improve considerably.
